The Hotel Garrafão history begin with Wanderley Franco, born in 1946, in the village center, located in the Boituva,
region of Sorocaba, southeast Brazil and he grew a family with Wanda
de Jesus Franco.
In 19th December of 1970 he started up his business with bar, bowling and
restaurant at Cel. Eugênio Motta, center of Boituva, where it was the first
establishment

Wanderley, together with his wife Wanda, managed the hotel, gathering an
enormous circle of friends among the guests, as they considered making
friends more important than running the business itself.
The Hotel Garrafão, after successive extensions, has been in the last few
years through a total renovation, offering now 70 housing units, access
to Internet (broadband connection), a wide breakfast room, only one
small room gymnastics, facsimile (fax) and two parkings.
